OREMOR Automotive Group manages a portfolio of automotive dealership websites representing multiple brands, including Toyota, Nissan, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Jeep, Chrysler, Ram, Dodge, Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. Our marketing team supports dealership operations by driving measurable digital performance across multiple rooftops.

 

Hybrid position - with office in Tustin, CA

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven SEO Specialist to manage organic search strategy across 20 automotive dealership websites. This role sits at the intersection of data, content, and dealership operations, requiring someone who understands the technical demands of automotive SEO and the environment of franchise dealership marketing.

 

This role requires a strong self-starter who can connect the dots across multiple stakeholders and digital platforms. We want someone who welcomes a team focus, is communication-driven, and strives to ensure strong organic visibility and performance across the dealership portfolio. Responsibilities

What You Will Do as aN SEO SPECIALIST:

  • Develop, manage, and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies across 20 dealership websites.
  • Conduct keyword research targeting high-intent search terms for new inventory, used inventory, service, and parts by market, brand, and geography.
  • Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, header structures, schema markup, and landing page content in alignment with OEM guidelines.
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability across the website portfolio.
  • Maintain and optimize Google Business Profile listings, ensuring accurate NAP data, categories, and content.
  • Develop and maintain SEO-optimized content for vehicle specials, service department pages, and OEM parts pages.
  • Audit and optimize existing website content for internal linking, topical authority, and conversion relevance.
  • Support local SEO initiatives, including city landing pages and service area targeting.
  • Provide SEO performance reporting using Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and enterprise SEO platforms.
  • Track organic traffic trends, keyword ranking movement, and leads attributed to organic search.
  • Identify and resolve crawl errors, indexing issues, and site anomalies with web development teams.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits, including crawl management, canonical tags, redirects, duplicate content, and structured data.
  • Monitor and manage backlink profiles, identifying toxic links and executing a disavow strategy when needed.
  • Serve as the SEO point of contact between the marketing agency and dealership General Managers, communicating performance and strategy updates.

 

Qualifications

Skills Needed for Optimum Success:

  • Along with experience in SEO and multi-location website management, you will also bring:
  • 3+ years of SEO experience, including automotive or multi-location environments.
  • Experience managing SEO across multiple websites simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and enterprise SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or BrightLocal.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS basics, and technical SEO principles, including structured data and crawl management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate SEO data for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with automotive dealership website platforms such as DealerInspire, Dealer.com, or Dealer eProcess.
  • Understanding of automotive search intent, inventory lifecycle, and seasonal search demand patterns.
  • Experience working with agency teams and OEM compliance requirements is preferred.
